Buffalo & Emporium RPO renamed Buffalo & East Emporium RPO (PRRT&HS)

1910

Double track completed between Emporium and Relay on Buffalo Division. (PRRT&HS)

1911

Double track opens between Emporium and Relay, Olean and Franklinville on Buffalo Division. (PRRT&HS)

1917

Beavers reintroduced to Pennsylvania. A pair of beavers was brought from Wisconsin and released on the East Branch of Cowley Run. Beavers are still found in the area.

1918

“Spanish” influenza epidemic hits Boston, New York and Pennsylvania. Runs through early 1919.

1920, July

Sizer Mineral Springs closed and sold to William H. Brown of Williamsport. (History of Cameron County Pennsylvania)

1922, September

The new state highway was completed through the valley.

1924

Sizerville State Park opened for public use.
